Rangers have just sacked Caixinha. My cousin, a Kilmarnock supporter it has to be said, reckons a certain ex-Hearts manager's name being mentioned in the West End of Glasgow.

But would Robbie want to manage at a lower level? 8-)

There's no argument that it's a lower league, but on the plus side for him, he's used to losing at Ibrox.

They said they wanted someone who "gets Rangers" that would read to me as a former player for example. Or at least someone who is Scottish. So maybe Robbie. Could you imagine the uproar if it was Strachan. Celtic would not be happy with that!

in all seriousness - Ryan Giggs was meant to be at a Man Utd charity event this weekend (saturday night i believe) and he's cancelled it last minute due to personal reasons.

Colleague at work is a Gers season ticket holder and Giggs has been heavily linked to it according to him.

4+4=8 or 4+4= 17??

Just cant see neilson going back to scotland without being pushed. He came to england to progress his career and get a foothold on the english ladder. As good a club and as big a club as rangers afe what can he really do in scotland to rival celtic? Id say itd be a backwards step and id imagine he might see it that way too.

There’s no way he will get the Rangers job but let’s not kid ourselves. Glasgow Rangers would not be a backward step from MK Dons.
