Tshobola and Cisse play different roles.

Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't. Like most modern footballers they have to be flexible and be tactically aware on a number of roles & positions. As an experienced manger I thought you would know that. ;)

I thought he had a better game than I've seen him previously but wondered a bit if the article was sponsored by MK Dons or Cisse, or his mum as it wasn't that great.

I have to say I really like Cisse, he's not in the team to be liked but I think having characters that bring the team together is part of being in a team and as we've seen in this league a team can transform their form based on what is going on in the dressing room, manager etc, so no doubt it helps.

Watch him at the end of matches - even if he's been on the bench he's out high fiving other players, at the front applauding fans, he's all over social media giving insights that the media team probably twitch about. To be clear and to avoid the "Oh so he's great because he's on snapchat" I'm not saying that I'm just saying I like him and I suspect he is a strong presence in the team in terms of morale etc. His job is to perform on the pitch too and if that is improving then that's good news.

I realise we’ve all seen players do that several times before, but it’s hugely enjoyable when it works for you.

Not that different, but I agree they play them in very different ways.

The same people moaning about Cisse are probably those who moaned about Potter.

Can't believe I missed this.

I'm assuming D50 was still in 'he just needs to get used to English football phase' (I know I was).

He didn't, and some would say still hasn't, can never be compared to a true maestro like Pottsy.

He got injured at Luton, as said already.

He came over to the fans at Crawley to clap us. So if he’s injured and not involved it says a lot about him to travel to the game in full tracksuit and comes over to clap the fans. Great stuff.
