At 2:15pm this afternoon:-

1) San Miguel was not available

2) John Smiths was sour (not for the first time)

3) Guinness had run out and needed changing

and

4) Carling isn't a drink that anybody could possibly enjoy could they?

The place was also (pleasingly) busy.

Surely it is now time we got our act together and got the right drinks available at the right time?

Carling is beautiful. Far better than the shit we sell in the Cowshed bar called "Carlsberg"

No idea why the cowshed bar has pumps apart from the lager everything else comes out of a tin or bottle.

The club has never been good at catering, they run out of things like Haribo which has a shelf life of a thousand years. They should also prepare drinks in advance like tea rather than having to wait.

I presume there is a catering manager in charge of all the bars on site?
Rather than post on here why not try and find this business point of contact and send them an email... If enough people do it then maybe things will change?

The Cowshed Bar really is horrible.
I have this dream of going in there and finding a barrel of real ale on tap....

The cider is ok - but really wish they would try and make it more welcoming, some kind of easy mop plastic floor would be a start !

I've honestly never felt as much of an issue with the bar as a lot of people. I've complained and moaned at certain things but generally it's no worse than most beer on sale at any one stadium bar. Not to mention that some stadia don't even sell booze.

Beer can be flat or soapy but meh. Better than no beer.

They don't sell vodka either. :(
I assume there is some regulation about spirits.
