At half-time I reckon he was close to 45 minutes away from having his throat cut in a scene that would have made some of those in Game of Thrones look like the Magic Roundabout (not the one in Swindon). He bet big in terms of his substitutions - could just as easily lost 6-2 as got the draw. All done with a calm, indeed almost clinical fashion . Not a Robbo-type histrionic to be seen.
