You do realise that the pitch is partly plastic? Grass is grown to mesh together with plastic stuff ( it does have a name, I’ve forgotten, but it’s plastic basically)

Gives a stronger playing surface apparently (learned this useless information on Stadium tour)

So keep it down on the plastic and grass Saturday......

It’s called Desso.

We were one of the first to install it but it’s fairly common nowadays.
