Marketing budgets are usually spent on where the greatest return is. An away fixture on a Friday aint producing a high return.

You are right, but we do get 40% of the gate receipts, unless we are donating it back to Hyde (which IMO we should do). Well, I believe it is 40/40/20.

It is a bit of a lost cause in promoting it though. I am not too sure if it is a school day in MK, but getting people to take their kids out of school to drive three hours there and three hours back is a fruitless endeavour as it's not like we are playing silky attractive football.

I have a feeling this game will be a Cambridge City game from a few years back 0-0 Friday night game against a non-league opponent where we hit the post and bar at least 3 times in that game! Ahhh the memories

Did you go to Cambridge city game? Why should we give any gate receipts to Hyde, they've probably got more money than us haha

It’s 45% of the gate receipts each. The balance goes in the pool which is shared between all entrants according to this:

http://www.totalsportek.com/money/fa-cup-prize-money/

Win it next Friday and it’s worth nearly £100K.

It was on BT Sport. I am so plastic I watched it down the pub. Just call me Ken.

I'm going with my 2 kids. First away game in a very long time. My kids always want to go when it's on TV so they can try and spot themselves after! Tickets aren't pricey either which is good. Box Office said we had sold 50 yesterday lunchtime

40% of a small number is less than 100% of a big number.
