Only from what I see and hear (or don't see and hear) on the pitch. Lewie seems to think his sole responsibilities are to question every refereeing decision that goes against us. We never see him trying to gee-up the crowd, giving other players directions, bollockings or a pat on the back as justified. In fact I have already seen Cisse do more "captaincy" in his short time with us.
However, Lewie is our senior player and deserves and commands respect for what he does off the field of play. He should have been appointed Club Captain years ago and A.N. Other appointed as Team Captain.
