If you pause the Sky highlights at 28 seconds, it looks very much like their number 18 is offside when the ball is passed to him, unless there is someone keeping him onside out of the picture. Didn't look like that at the time.

Looking at the team sheet before the game I could not see where our goals could come from. Particularly with 3 of our 4 strikers sitting on the bench.

Yes I agree, I kinda get the leaving Aneke on the bench and bringing him on second half when Pompey have tired a bit but saying that had Aneke had started would we have gone two down? Personally I would always start with my strongest eleven.

Chuks still needs to be eased back into it. Also, he plays up front and the 2 goals were clear defensive errors, so yes we would have gone 2-0 down.
