Seen that he’s been linked with a £15M move to West Brom. A few other Championship clubs interested too apparently.

I’ve just been scouring the old news reports for any mention of a sell on fee.

No mention, but it was from the days pre-EPPP when selling clubs could usually insert some clause to ensure they got rewarded. It was widely reported that Liverpool paid a £2M fee, but I can’t see too much detail on the structure of the deal. There must surely have been bonuses for first team appearances and milestones and, you’d hope, a % of any future transfer profit?

Crazy, ain’t it? However that’s pretty much the starting price if you’re English, played a few European games for a big club and are seen as having potential.

It’s insane that in the space of maybe 5 years the transfer window has gone absolutely crazy.

Understand parachute payments tv deals and all that but it is incredible.

22 years ago £15m was a world record fee. I know inflation makes a difference and all that but still.

No way in the world should Ojo be worth £15m. I know someone like d50 will reply with "he's worth what clubs are willing to pay" blah blah blah but let's be honest, it shouldn't be that high. £5m-8m at the absolute most.

Not my opinion, that’s just a fact.

Just seen him score a pen against Man Utd in the USA pre season game, he’s like a heavyweight boxer now, an absolute beast not the boy that left.

If I’ve read this article http://blog.fieldoo.com/2014/04/what-is ... -football/ correctly and yes these rules still apply, then 5% of £15 million is set aside, which is £750k. As he transferred in November after his fourteenth birthday, we would be entitled to somewhere between 10-15%, so at least £75k coming our way.

Down payment on Jayden Stockley?
