I had a chance to speak to a number of our injured players last night, so in case you missed my comments in another thread, I’ve created a separate thread.

Aneke - Back in training, hopes to be included in the Oldham game, but it may be a week too soon.
Sow - Hopes to be back in full training on Monday, possibly a few weeks before we see him involved.
Nombe - Currently wearing a protective boot, two weeks before back in full training.
BTA - Also wearing a protective boot, end of August looks likely as a possible time to return.
Brittain - Limped off in tears last night, no further details.
Jackson - Injured last night, no further details.

Is there something dodgy about our pitch? Do Bradford have as many injury problems as us?

More likely something dodgy about our training ground.
But the Brittain injury was courtesy of Carruthers.
Talking of Bradford I see they have gone down the route of a rookie, youth manager.

I don't think the injuries have much to do with surfaces. Brittain, Jackson, BTA all impact injuries. Probably Nombe too, given he's in a protective boot.

Great that Chuks is relatively close to a return. Be nice to get 15 minutes out of him at Oldham.

Tisdale confirmed Chuks had trained once. Maybe a bit of keeping Oldham guessing with him.

If not match fit, should still be a bench option. He's that key.

He’s key but it’s a long season. No need to rush him back.

pics of Chuks training today on club Twitter.

Did whoever asked the question about a Dunstable friendly this week ever get an answer?

If it's happening then Chuks may get a run out, I guess?

I reckon they'll be aiming for Chuks to come back for the Charlton league cup game

Good to see Chuks back in full training, sneaky feeling he might get 15 minutes v Oldham if needed
