https://www.mkdons.com/news/2018/july/r ... term-deal/

Never heard of him. 33 and a poor goalscoring record for a striker. Short term deal.

:?

Not good enough IMO.

same guy that Kay clashed with in 2012 I think? one of very few opponent players that sticks in my mind for being a particularly nasty player;

It's probably the worst signing of the 7, and the lack of an announcement of it, plus the fact it specifically mentions it's a short term deal is telling to.

What is it? 6 months? A year?

This is a bit of a shit signing considering he's a striker.

33 years old.
Scored 17 goals in the Conference in 2007.
Since then averaged 3 goals a season.
79 goals in 424 league games, most of which came before 2007 in the Conference or lower.

That's worse than Maynard and about the same as Church, but at least Church was scoring at higher levels.

Bit concerning that Pete said he wanted a smaller squad this season yet we're approaching the number we had last season already. Still need some real quality bringing in up front and on the wing. We need a marquee striker/winger/AM like our L2 rivals have already brought in.

in.

But we are not in a higher league.
Short term deal and the OS story sounds to me as if he has been brought in as much to help with the culture change/adjustment to League 2 as to actually play.

Honestly this guy could be a meme.

Like he could be, as mentioned before, our new Broughton.

Like a player so shit he’s universally loved.
