He’s a good holding midfielder. I can see why they would want him.

One day you will laugh along with everyone else and be equally as baffled at things.

This.
We've not seen the best of him, but he's a decent player and has proved it at times.
He has played a few times for Mali, and has been a regular in the French 2nd division and at the start of the 2015/16 season joined Rayo Vallecano in the Spanish top-flight. Admittedly he rarely featured for them but a player of that calibre is way too good to be mocked by a league two club.
It's not worked out with us, and it's better he goes now to save on his wages; but I'm not surprised clubs are interested in him and I wish him all the best.

I don’t see why it’s better he goes now. I’d rather keep him.

Yeah, if money wasn't an issue, I'd rather keep him as well.
But I'm assuming we're probably going to have to sell some of our bigger wage earners, and I imagine Cisse is one of those. So if teams are indeed after him, he might be one that we could cash in on.
But I'd be pleased if Pete chooses to keep him.

Fair enough if it helps us to balance the books.

He won't be difficult to track. SELL SELL SELL.

He’s a core part of things wrong with the club last sseason. Won’t be missed.

He's one of the few players at the club who's capable of putting his foot on the ball and stringing a pass or two together. He makes mistakes like any player but he's better than many. Of course, our brilliant Three Counties commentators (!) don't like him because he doesn't charge about like a fart in a phone booth all the time.

Rather he stayed.

1. In his position, he is a downgrade on Potter. DM has always been a strong position for us and this season he was one of the weaker links.
2. He really didn't contribute much to the season, but neither did a lot of the squad. In other words, we got relegated with this squad and he is part of the problem along with a dozen or so others that weren't good enough.

Not our worst player ever, but he was certainly one of the players that disappointed last season and I think we can do better than him in the position he plays.
