Not the reason we lost but him and his lino were an absolute joke. Two goals offside from where I was. Game was gone by that point fair enough but generally unacceptable to blow after absolutely everything and give a goal that was so blatantly offside their players didn't even celebrate.

As I say take nothing away from Bradford. Not a 4-1 game but they deserved to win. Just frustrating seeing two officials so painfully bad.

You can always tell if it's a poor linesman by how they react to a throw in. If they wait to see which way the ref points to before raising their flag, we've got a poor one. He did this every time.

Lino's are told to hold the flag in left or right hand whichever way they think the throw should go. The referee then has to make the decision with the aid of the Lino, only then does he raise the flag. Got to agree today though, they were shit.

What summed up the officials today was the ref sending back Upson to take a free kick in our half and marking the spot with spray, only for Upson to move it to the other side of the halfway line, while the linesman stood there watched it all and didnt do anything about it

At 2-1 I'm not sure it was. That's why I was so p*ssed off with the offsides. I thought we played pretty well under the circs in the second half.

To be honest with you, what do you expect at this level? He's a shit ref'. It's league three, of course he's shit. If he was any good he'd be officiating at a higher level.

It's league three. He's shit, we're shit. Thought people would've realise that by now.

Agree with this. We've seen lots of refs at the same standard at SMK. It shouldn't be a surprise nowadays.

As far as I can see this is his first season in the football league, and only his second game in League 1.

He was suckered in by their number 6 - every single time he was challenged by one of our players, he went down and won a free kick.

He was not helped by the blind Assistant at the dons end of the pitch in the second half. Both goals were off-side

I don't think we were. :ugeek: :ugeek: At all
If it was 11 v 11 then things could have been very different (I need to look at the replay to see if it was a red but FFS second half who would criticise that?)
