Apparently he signed a contract on Friday according to OTD

Nothing on the OS. OTD being wrong shocker!

He didn't say it would be announced anytime soon. Lots of players sign contracts early but won't be announced for days/weeks even months after e.g. Asonganyi apparently signed his months before it was announced.

But the difference is that Reo-Coker will be a first team player. I am sure if he is on the pitch tonight there would be a lot of confused looks.

I doubt he'll be playing tonight. But he should be playing for the rearranged U23 game v Bristol Rovers, which is being played behind closed doors at S:MK today at 13.00. Perhaps that is his final fitness test ;) . We might get a clue depending on whether he is named when the teams are announced or described as 'a trialist'.

He's playing for the u23. Not listed as a trialist.

Surely not? Not with a first team game tonight, i wouldn't have thought?

I did wonder if the term "behind closed doors" was a bit of a misnomer here, as surely it's at Woughton (or even on the artificial at the station)?

Well its 10 past one, if he hasn't gone off injured by now, he won't fit in here.

1-0 Nombe :D

By the way, he's allowed to play in these games. We haven't recalled him.

Good spot.

We all knew it was signed anyway. That just confirms it.

I wonder if they'd previously scripted a DM interview that was along the lines of "He had a great game this afternoon and that's what convinced me he can contribute". This will make a bit of a mockery of all the cloak & dagger stuff.

If he has signed, I hope he contributes more than the majority of older ex-prem players we've 'enjoyed' over the years.

And I pray it's the pay-for-play way for payday (sorry I couldn't resist).

Looks like a serious injury to a Rovers player has caused the game to be abandoned?

Did I see Brackley mentioned when this was advertised on the OS? Or did I imagineer that?

Anyhoo, it finished 2-0.
