Sticking my neck out here but a seasoned experiencd player in the middle of the park won't be a bad thing for us and I think R-C fits the bill quite well. Quite probably too late to get us out of the mire though but hopefully he's still got a couple of good seasons left in him for league 2.

He didn't say it would be announced anytime soon. Lots of players sign contracts early but won't be announced for days/weeks even months after e.g. Asonganyi apparently signed his months before it was announced.

I doubt he'll be playing tonight. But he should be playing for the rearranged U23 game v Bristol Rovers, which is being played behind closed doors at S:MK today at 13.00. Perhaps that is his final fitness test ;) . We might get a clue depending on whether he is named when the teams are announced or described as 'a trialist'.
