Fleetwood chose this option
Getting just a point of us wasn't great for them

Sorry but I’d rather take a punt on an inexperienced managed that may come good than do an Everton and get someone like Sheridan, Brown, Lee Clark or Martin Allen just because they’re experienced. Imagine being a club who employs a manager like that on a 3 year contract who then brings in generic League Atwood players they’ve worked before on long contracts too.

I don’t see the love affair people have with basic.

The thing I'd say for Fleetwood and Sheridan is why did we not consider hiring someone for just the rest of the season? Maybe Grayson would have taken that job. If not him Guus Hiddink.

I’ve resigned myself to League 2 not because we have Dan at the helm, but simply because I think the team is really not up to it.
If we survive all well and good.
Not only that but I hope we stick with him, I think he will learn a lot, and ibecome a very good manager.

Firstly experience does not guarantee success.

Secondly we have already had two successful in-experienced managers.

Firstly you are correct.

But secondly the two or three you are thinking of had a lot of experience in the men’s professional game to draw on.

An experienced manager who shouldn't keep getting jobs is Owen Coyle. He did quite well in his first 2 jobs with St Johnstone and Burnley but that only went up to 2010. In the last 8 years he has failed with 5 clubs: Bolton, Blackburn, Wigan, Houston and Ross. He has left Ross today after 5 months, leaving them bottom of the table.
I know it's a merry-go-round, but after 8 years of constant failing surely he should fall off it and be replaced by someone else?
And yet I fully expect him to get another job at a similar level in the near future.

Inbound to Swindon?

He will be the next manager at Bury. That area seems to be his favourite
