Sir Chuks Aneke. Anyone heard how bad his injury is? He is our 1 glimmer of hope.

I’m hearing “not as bad as first feared”.

That could mean anything, of course, but it does sound from DM’s interview that we may have a couple of senior players returning in the next week or so (Chuks & Pawlett, I’d assume).

Those two are key to our creativity and lack of chances created. Keep either of them fit for the remainder of the season and we’ll have a chance.

Ah yes I forgot about Pawlett. He seems to play 1 game then disappear for the next 5. We could really do with him staying fit.

Heard this second or third hand in CR yesterday but the man himself apparently said he hoped to be back this week and was close to playing yesterday.

How ridiculous is it that we rely on one player so much?

I suppose it shows just how poor this squad is, that we seem utterly reliant on Chuks being available

Having said that I really hope he’s fit and ready because we desperately need him

Maybe he should be installed as player manager, surely he could not be any worse than DM.
