Our fan base are completely split on which direction we go in as a club and I don't think we can look forward to any successful rebuilding until this dichotomy is, if not resolved, then at least pushed into the background while the club themselves are given time to go in the direction that they choose. Otherwise, whichever direction they choose, the other half of the fans will keep calling for change and it is just becoming a very unfunny joke.
I personally wanted an experienced manager of proven ability to replace Neilson, but when we chose Dan I was more than prepared to lend my support to the decision for two reasons. 1) It would be arrogant of me to assume I was right as we had good success under a similar appointment with Robbo.
2) I knew the club needed time and stability to find their way again and so there was no way I was going to start shit-stirring just because I hadn't got my way.

It is becoming clear that we as a club and as fans are failing that test.
I know it's probably because we are a "new" club with new fans finding us and we are still finding our feet. But as long as this fiercely vocal dichotomy remains, I can only see this fractious atmosphere continuing and it will be to the detriment of the clubs development.

Simple

Don't know where I stand then. I really couldn't give a toss at the minute. Win, lose or draw. Yesterday's first half was as boring a 45mins that I've ever sat through. There was quite literally nothing to engage with. And for me that's more of a worry than happy fans V's unhappy ones.

Play like we did yesterday and you'll soon see sub 5000 crowds. And it'll be extremely difficult to get them back up again.
