Did we ever get an offer from Redbull? Was it refused by Winkelman? If so why? Genuine question.

Because Bobby Winkelman and his wife wouldn't keep their jobs.

I witnessed it with my own eye that we cocked this up.

Had the goose who could lay the golden egg given on a plate to them and handled it so badly it went away.

Easy to make that claim without providing anything to back it up...

Red Bull, as we have seen with other clubs, seem to insist on their name being used.

Pretty obvious.

The day Red Bull take over and change the club to a red bull mk or whatever is the day I’d leave this club.

I do believe there has been an approach. Pete alluded to it in that half hour interview he did and even went as far as saying that it was a non-starter because of the the way the game is set up regarding dual ownership,

While most will obviously scoff currently at the thought of one day being denied European football because of the risk we might meet our sister club’s in Leipzig or Salzburg, if Pete’s genuinely serious about leaving a legacy, then it would be ruined in one fell swoop by a future generation being denied football at the highest level. Whatever the benefits, imposing a glass ceiling on this club is not in his brief. He’ll find another way to get the funding.
