Outside of the wreckage of our season that was on the pitch today, I witnessed something that wasnt right but dont know what to do about it really, if anything.

There was a bunch of kids, maybe 13 or so years old, a couple of rows in front of me today that I havent seen before. I didnt see what happened but a guy with his family who was sat behind them and in front of me felt the need to speak to the stewards and at half time the stewards came and gave some pretty hard words to the boys.

Fast forward to the end of the match and as those same boys were leaving, as they got to the steps at the top of aisle 14, one of them dropped kicked a half drunk bottle of Tango which hit an elderly lady a few rows down, sitting minding her own business, bang on the head, obviously hurting her. I turned to try and grab one of them but they took to their heels and were gone.

I would recognise them if I saw them again and I heard the steward say they had been watching them on CCTV, so they would be easy to identify. Then again, they are just kids.

Would you contact the club or just concentrate on wallowing in the pity of todays performance?

Contact the club. No excuse for that sort of behaviour , however bad the match was.
We can do without those 'supporters'

Youth of today are generally out of control. They think they can do what they want and no one can do anything.

I've contacted the club in the past over this sort of thing in the past and would do it every time.

Agree. The club needs evidence to act.
Please do it.

Thanks for the replies. My wife thinks I should report it but my brother reminded me of some of the much worse things we did at a similar age and it has made me doubt the point.

I will give the club a call and see if they are interested in finding out about it.

I'd report it personally, there's no excuse for that.

oh ffs, report what? someone kicking a drinks can? I'm sure they didn't intend it to hit someone?
if the person directly affected felt aggrieved then it should be them that report it, no?
why is this a "dark moment" lol

Well, how about the deliberate act of kicking a half full bottle into the, admittedly thinning crowd and then, rather than realising their mistake and apologising, they run away?

What if that hit your mum, would you like me to report it then?
