But only ever done well for Rochdale. He was shite at Barnsley. Mind you, you cut that man he would bleed Rochdale blue.

Normally I wouldn't want a team like Rochdale to earn a replay as it's another big pay day for them and I don't take the romantic view when it comes to league rivals of ours, I just think of the financial advantage it gives them.
However, the short term benefits for this season (Wednesday's game v us and the extra physical effort they'll be exerting) means I'm pleased with the result. Although, long term, it's a bugger as they'll be getting the kind of huge financial boost from this run that we could desperately do with.

I suspect part of their financial boost has all ready gone on the relaid pitch somewhere in the regions of 500k if its been done properly

I also suspect they ran more km yesterday than almost any other game they played this season so hopefully a few beers after the game and thier legs will be like jelly after 60mins Wednesday.

If we dont win we are doomed

The main difference between us and Rochdale, apart from their players and manager's passion and desire, is they are not scared to play it long.
Our players seem to only want to play 5 yard passes.
We would never had played the ball for the first goal, as it meant not playing to feet.

Why does DM persist in playing a 5'9" centre forward, he's not going to win a lot in the air, which means attacking options are limited.

Why not play Muirhead as a target man, with Agard picking up the pieces.

I wouldn't be happy playing a lot of kids until all hope is gone.
