Club's too bloody soft, been too soft all season . Whole stadium should have been on their feet at half time giving them what for . DM had a bit of a go on the radio but no where near enough . the overwhelming message should have been to actually threaten some players with the sack with a first half performance like that. I watched Sheff United v Leeds on telly earlier this season Sheffield won 2 -1 I remember after the game Chris Wilder was furious, in his interview he said certain players let themslves down and took their foot off the gas . I remember him when he took over Wobblers they was down and out he came in and said some players need to be totally ashamed to pick up any wages and some would never pull on a shirt again . Blokes a winner , that's why. Thats whats lacking and it so apparent on the pitch , going through the motions , no intesity no hopful runs , no hard tackling , no putting their bloody bodys on the line There was a story about Ron Atkinson when he was at Villa, came in a half time 2 nil down, apparently he said . "You hear that booin , WELL I FUCKING STARTED IT" |
