Don’t like that being aimed at the players, singing that is deplorable, likewise the constant booing of Reeves

We have little to no hope of staying up but some of the abuse toward the players first half was obscene. I have no problem with people around me having a general moan too each other but the abuse being shouted out was disgusting.

What was being shouted?

Just general abuse, very toxic imo just about every piece of abuse you could imagine and if I could hear it, toward the front of the cowshed then the players would have too. I actually thought Nicholls looked a bit uncomfortable being there. If I had people shouting that at me would I be bothered about their football club? No I wouldn’t.

It IS your right to boo/sing but.....

So next summer in the transfer window some promising young loanee (he's a kid and will likely have a fragile ego) is weighing up the options as to where he might go.
Being (probably) rather naive he asks his agent which club to opt for.
Agent knows (as we all do) our support is minimal in terms of volume and encouragement at most games even when we are winning :( and - as has been said - TOXIC when losing.
He thinks 'poor little so and so won't like that at this stage in his career'. I'd advise him him to go to.....instead.
IT COULD HAPPEN.
FFS......Some people.

Oh, and without Nicholls' actions it would have been 3-1. :ugeek:

Yes the booing of Reeves was bizarre, however he was clapped off by CR when he was subbed.

I'm positive, definitely renewing our season tickets, train tickets booked for Fleetwood, Bradford, Wigan and Southend!
Keep the faith, I am :D
