We have little to no hope of staying up but some of the abuse toward the players first half was obscene. I have no problem with people around me having a general moan too each other but the abuse being shouted out was disgusting.

VERY VERY poor show to sing that IMHO.
There WAS some fight in the second half and the crowd DID get behind them.
I feel as p*ssed off as anyone but - and I can't be bothered to engage in the debate yet again but for the last time - booing will not help. It will only deepen the players' negative feelings.
Those around me were particularly F-cked off with the tw*t behind us who...let's just say... should not change his day job to a motivational coach.
RN destroyed the team's morale and it won't be easy (as is plain to see) for DM to get it back; if indeed he can.

I've always been of the mindset that folk can more or less do what they want, with the proviso that they don't hurt me or mine.

Wouldn't do it myself personally, but I can understand how frustrated people are.

When you change the manager, and bring in a new manager with a completely different philosophy and the team STILL play poorly, then the players definitely have to take a considerable proportion of the blame for our league position.
