Post subject:  Message for DM
You're well thought of and people put their faith in you. You aren't to blame for it all and you were a brave man for having a go.

But time to move on now.... we need to put up a serious fight with a seriously demotivated and demoralised set of players.... let someone who knows what they are doing take over for a big pay off if we stay up.

We may be slightly adrift but it is fucking February and we have a lot of games left. Let's at least give ourselves a chance and not this pathetic "we're already down" mindset that lets PW off the hook.

No point abusing the bloke. As withe RN and Robbo, we're all human and have bills to pay and families to think of. I hope he does go though as I worry the club are turning his into a managed decline (financially it is suggested a long time) to kind of water down our expectations

Yes, there's still 14 games left: If we sack him now, there'll be time for another sacking before next season. Let's sack him now, then we can get someone else in and sacked by the end of the season. Then we really shouldn't give the next but one guy long at the start of next season...
Rubbing my hands in glee at the thought of all these yet to be appointed idiots that we can look forward to sacking.
Why did we give this guy 5 games? Hope we're not so patient with the next one. Bloody idiot, whoever he is.
What do we want? The next guy sacked.
When do we want it? As soon as we know who it is.

100% This. I want a big poster outside the club shop with winkie on it that just reads "sack for victory". We should give the next guy one game in charge to prove himself. No more.

Does anyone think Winkie would actually sack Micciche before next season?

If this was a Premier League club, he'd probably only have a game or two left before the sack, but obviously compensation is much less of an issue there than it is in League One.

Just wonder whether Pete is weighing up the costs of sacking Micciche/Millen and bringing in someone to try and keep us up versus the costs of relegation.

Would being relegated "cost us" more than sacking another manager in the same season?

Risk is that if he did sack him, we could still get relegated if a new manager didn't improve things. Then it would be double shit.

Moral of the story for Winkie, is listen to Filthy more. If he had sacked Neilson back in November like I said, we probably would have sorted ourselves out by now.
