A few years ago a certain Scouse person got this printed on our tunnel as you walk out.

Think some of those players and people in and around the club including fans should probably reread that quote ahead of the game.

He’s not only back working in the game, but seems to have survived about 12months longer than anyone of us reasonably predicted at Charlton, and has them competing at the right end of the table. I’d say that he’s lasted pretty well, in fairness.

All those Robbo slogans have been removed from around the ground haven’t they?

I can imagine that Robbie Neilson made that one of his priorities on arrival. That probably says a lot about him..

For what it’s worth I thought they were only marginally more inspriring than “you don’t have to be mad to work here, but it helps”, but we’re dealing with footballers, so I guess it probably worked on some level.
