Northampton and the two former non-league minnows Luton and Wycombe in League 1, with MKD in League 2.

How would this affect pre-season ST sales and gates at the start of next season? Would you average 3 county floating supporter be drawn to the higher league or would a good start (pigs might fly) to the season counter this?

Look it's your area. I live in a far more affluent location so have no idea how this would play out.

Same as in 07/08 though right?

Can't see many (if any) shifting to either of the rivals tbh. They all had similar attendances to now before MK Dons, so it's unlikely a simple relegation will see many jump in their cars to either club.

I've excluded Wycombe from any consideration....because it's miles away.

The one reassuring thing that we have is a growing young supporter base. This season, off the back of the ‘gift of football’ Bolton game, I joined one of my nephews sons as a season ticket holder, my brother in law who is a season ticket holder at Bedford Rugby club also comes to probably 70% of our home games, my nephew has been to around 70% of home games and a couple of away games with me. At the Coventry game my nephews younger son also came and really enjoyed it.

Today myself and my wife were in Waitrose in Bedford and had a coffee in the restaurant. A 30 something year old guy turned round from his table and pointed at my Dons coat then to one of his two sons who was wearing a Dons shirt. We struck up a conversation and the father told me him and his two sons, one 7 the other 6 are season ticket holders from the start of this season. The father said he couldn’t go tomorrow so the boys grandad was going to take them as they loved it so much.

If these kids can enjoy the shit season we have had this year I really cannot imagine they would want to go to one of our local rivals. These youngsters are the future of our club.

Is this the same Luton that won the league cup in 1988 or another Luton?

Easy decision for me, I'm not renewing next season regardless of what division we're in, the total garbage I've witnessed over the last two years has made it easy!
