Barring a minor miracle that with our fixture list is unlikely our relegation will at some point be confirmed.

In preparation for this should we start using a team of our own players and those likely to be here next year maybe along the lines of

Sietsma

Lewington
Cisse
Jackson
Williams

Nesbitt
Upson
Pawlett
Mcgrandles

BTA

Rasulo

Insert Tilney, and other youngsters as appropriate

I know we'll need a clear out but I'd still be dissappointed if we lost that many 1st team players. It's a nice idea but we have to play our strongest squad until we're relegated, If we get relegated with a few games to go then yeah it might be worth it.

While we still have a mathematical chance, we have to play the best team.

So what do you plan to do with all the players under contract that absolutely no one will want?

Keep paying them to do nothing, pay off their contracts?

Answers on a postcard.

We will play Asonganyi up front.

He will score 30+ goals and take us up all on his own.

I am assuming we may end up sellingGilbey, Aneke and Nicholls; Wooton and Upson are out of contract in June this year and if we go down I think they will look to move on and we would look to save salary.

The player I overlooked in honesty is Muirhead who I would like to see given a run but apart from that and those named above it will be youngsters on the bench. money will be tight so if we go down I don't expect much of a squad overhaul.

In fact I think that two players out of contract will go and unfortunately three players that we may want to keep but others may want good league 1 lower end of championship players.

Gilbey's injury means it's unlikely he will be going anywhere soon. He's in for the L2 rollercoaster, which is possibly bad as he will be on big bucks, but when he comes back it will be like a new signing....of Championship standard.....in league two.

Can see people taking a punt on Agard, Aneke, Williams and the 2 out of contract guys (Wootton and Upson), reckon the rest will be up to Mick. Including Nicholls.

Hopefully we can follow a similar formula to our last stint in that league in terms of signings.
