No real surprise. Shame, it looks like there is some talent there, but not used much by 3 different managers, so there must be some issues that we don't know about. Good luck to him

He’s a good player and honestly such a lovely lad. One of the nicest footballers I’ve ever met. But he’s not playing and at his age it’s best for both parties and I hope he gets it sorted for his sake.

Totally agree. Really like the bloke, and genuinely wish him all the best. Probably heading back to Scotland now I guess?

This, except I never met him, but he came across well on camera.

He offered to buy me a drink on a night out recently when I spoke to him about football. Saw me later in the night and he came up to me. Seemed genuinely happy to give him his time instead of avoiding fans like most players.

Guaranteed to end up at Dundee United with Neilson.

I think this is a mistake, he is a quality player.

yet, had the last six months with an experienced L2 manager to prove it and failed miserably.

For anyone who thinks there was a bias against "Neilson signings" by Tis, I suggest you look at how effusive he was in his praise for McGrandles last summer. Exactly the same circumstances as Nesbitt, but proved he was willing to put the work in to be part of the team.

That sounds a little harsh. I thought the issue with Nesbitt was more of a tactical / playing style one than a pure "he's not good enough" one.
Do you have anything to substantiate that last bit in bold that he wasn't willing to put the work in? I'd heard similar from some fans a while back, but couldn't seem to find any more in it than just a bit of hearsay.
