THE CONCRETE ROUNDABOUT (TCR)

Although we have an outside chance of staying up, the stats make for a bad scene.

As it stands :

- Rochdale are bottom on 25 points, but have 3 games in hand over us
- Then it is Bury, 26 points and played one more game than us
- We are on 30 points, 31 games
- AFC on 34 points, played one more than us
- Northampton next, 36 points but we have 2 games in hand over them
- Oldham, 36 points, and again we have 2 games in hand

My overall thought is Bury will come last, we may finish higher than Rochdale, but I cannot see us clawing back 6 points over Northampton or Oldham even with our games in hand, especially the way we are playing.

Whilst I’m not saying the scum won’t go down I honestly think they have a better chance of staying up than us. Can see us finishing second bottom.

Bury have better form than us.

We are down with on form : Rochdale, Maybe Fleetwood and the pub team.

With Chuks fit we’d stand a better chance.

Without him, we’re fooked.

-2 Draws
-1 Win (with 9 men)

We're getting relegated, aren't we?

We will claw back a couple of points just by pure luck, and because those teams around us are poor too.

We're basically fighting to escape the last two relegation spots. There are 3 teams on 36 points and one on 38. We would have to overtake at least two of those.

Going above one of them I can see, but overtaking two is a tall order. All of those teams will be fighting to stay up and have so far showed more intention to do so than we have.

That's not even taking into account the likes of Bury and AFC being in the mix too.

If I was a betting man, I wouldn't bet on us staying up.

I predict we will finish 21st on 41 points.

24th on 37 points.

So we're ruling out promotion then?
