Having observed football forum life for a dozen or so years, it seems to me that the worse a football team are performing the more confident forum members are in believing that they are football experts. All such flashes of Internet inspiration (e.g Godwin's Law) need a name. From now on, I am going to (arrogantly) refer to it as Family Law. ;)

Football experts

We spent 5 pages trying to work out yesterday's formation.
TBH though ild rather have that debate 100 pages more than your tosh which has nothing to do with the game .

I find all the different view points fascinating .

It was probably nearer 4 2 3 1/2

( actually I really do admire Agard's work rate, in fairness, just would like him to score the 'easy goals')

To be fair, with some of the decisions made by Neilson, I genuinely believe some people on here know at least as much as some managers when it comes to certain things.

Watching thousands of football matches does count for something, managers just know more about how to coach players and the business side of football more.

It's like films and film critics. Yes a film director knows the technical aspects of making a film, but some critics are just as wise at critiquing the end product.
