We lined up as a 3-2-3-2, I only wish the score had been 3-2

Or 5-3-2 defending and 3-5-2 attacking, or something like that, maybe, possibly

There was no way we were playing a back three yesterday. There was a back four and our formation seemed to be fluid between 4 2 3 1 and 4 1 3 2

Where do you think Lewie played?

Where did Lewie get an elbow in the face?

It was on his face.

Sad that you have joined the semantics police. I personally believe in freedom of expression, so even if it's technically incorrect, it is more expressive.

I'm glad you have all cleared that up for me, but a bit sad that we didn't have any more attackers than we did when we were defending.

Brando's excellent OP, lost in 5 pages of dull argument (in my opinion, of course) about how we lined up at the back. :P

We had five at the back, which converts to three when we're attacking, then back to five when they attacked us.

Fuck me! It's not hard. It's called a fluid system.

Shame it consistently leaks like a sieve around our six yard box, though ;)

'Fluid system' is one way of describing it, I suppose. Personally, I think 'clueless muddle' might be more accurate!
