I will be honest here and admit that I considered perhaps not renewing my ST for next season, towards the end of the RN reign. My day to day life is incredibly busy and going to matches on Saturday afternoons presents significant challenges in terms of finding the time but has been offset by miles by the entertainment going brought me. I started to miss a few home games that were more difficult to get to whereas previously, by hook or by crook I would manage to make it work. This wasnt a conscious decision, just a reflection of the feeling that the club was becoming somewhat disconnected from me and the football was dire and quite frankly, boring. I suspect in the end I would have ended up renewing, partly out of habit but mostly due to the fact that my sons both love it, are first generation Dons fans and my eldest in particular is dyed in the wool Dons. For me, thats how it came to me nearly jacking it all in. |
