He'll be playing in the natinal league south until the end of the season. Shame, thought he could have been aiming a bit higher, but should get plenty of gametime which is what he needs at his level, so best of luck to him

I agree, I thought he added a bit of speed when he came; but we have Tavernier now, so a loan will do him good.

Yes, if he plays and scores plenty then I can see the long term benefit.
However, I'm a little disappointed by the loan for two reasons. Firstly, the same as with Tilney and Furlong, the low level he's been loaned to doesn't bode well: I know he couldn't go to league two, but he could have gone to a national league team, instead of a team battling relegation in the national league south (6th tier).
And secondly, not saying Nombe would have made a huge impact but it is another attacking option that we've lost. Despite struggling for goals in the first half of the season, all that we have done going forward is replace the two loan players that left, and now loan out one of our own. So we now have less
attacking options than before the window started.
I'm not going to judge the attacking threat on the pitch under Dan until Chuks, Pawlett and Nesbitt are back, but I would have expected us to increase our attacking numbers when January arrived, not decrease.

Yeah, bit of an odd loan, I’m sure he’ll get plenty of game time but he’s better than that, no disrespect to Oxford City, but a spell in the National League would have been a better option.

That's good. Disappointed he's gone to a relegation battle in the 6th tier, but now he's at that low level he needs to bang in the goals so that's a good start.

He's getting experience for when we play at that level in three years

There’s pessimism and there’s wawickdons pessimism, if you’re thinking that way, you might as well give up and follow somebody else

I'm guessing that you post some of this stuff with a twinkle in your eye, to get a rise (and it works!). And from what you've said elsewhere, it sounds like you've had a very sad and emotional day, which would make anyone negative. But even with all that, that statement is utter guff mate, even taken as gallows humour.

Anyway - here's to brighter days ahead for us all. Not just in football.
