Wouldn't be surprised to see him get a loan in January. Can't see him getting back into the side now, and I'm sure he would still do a job for someone. Signed a new deal with us in the Summer so I bet he knew the role he would play, but he doesn't strike me as someone who'd turn down a few games.

I can't see us loaning Lewington out. Seems like we kept him at the club almost as a talisman, agree it doesn't look like he'll get into the side and there was lots of talk about the difference he makes in the dressing room etc. Seems the goal is to keep him at the club.

Perhaps he will join the Management team, it would be a suitable reward for all his loyalty

I very much doubt that he'll be going anywhere - especially when Golbourne's loan ends in Jan.

I think Golbourne will extend. He wasn't sure about the place so only committed until January but we wanted him for the whole season.

Nielson told him that he was looking at bringing someone in to play LB, so he'd end up being a bit part player. I believe this was said before he signed a new contract.

I would suspect he will transition into a management role. Cant see him going out on loan. Would be good to see him get some game time against Stevenage on Tuesday as well. He's still a decent player.

Club legend. Hope he stays on as a coach with us

Why can't he come back to us one day and do his coaching?
