...of DM ! Played 2, lost 2. Just saying ;)

I am hoping he and his team will do well. We all want that.

But I did think it was too much of a "love-in" when DM was appointed, a bit too much OTT. Listening to some on here, it was like we had got Pep or something !

Many of us were expecting PW to go for an experienced man, and I still would have preferred that. DM may be promising, but so far he has managed some kids under 16. Yet all I read on TCR was "how great" an appointment - but how many of you saw that coming ? Honestly ?

Today was a wake-up call, that management in L1 is tough. RN no doubt was sincere - and he came with a reasonable track record at Hearts - but he was way out of his depth. I just hope it will not be the same for DM too. But if a few months down the line he deserves criticism - as we all did for Robbo and RN - then we should not be afraid to speak out with honesty likewise.

Give him some time won't you. There are reasons we are in the position we are, which can't be fixed overnight and we will do well to survive, but I'm not writing off this season just yet.

If you have nothing sensible or constructive to say, then best say nothing.

Nothing it is then.

I was one of the first to say he needed time when appointed. I am just saying, if there comes a time when we see no improvement, none of us should be afraid to raise our concerns and honest thoughts. But any of that will not be until way into next season.

And if we do go down - which I reckon is certain now - then DM should not take the blame for that.

A bold an ambitious appointment, but at completely the wrong time.

We needed an experienced man to set this team up to be hard to beat, to steal a goal here and there and get the points needed to survive.

Instead we’re trying to pass our way out of a relegation battle vainly trying to do it the ‘MK Way’ (whatever the hell that is) with a group of players who don’t appear to have the necessary quality.

Now was not the time for DM.

Another poor decision from PW imo.

I hope you don't mind if I don't share your fatalism.

DM is no doubt very cheap, and therefore the best candidate for the Dons and Pete Winkelman.
