Who I want to stay:
Tilney
Upson
Nombe
Logan

Who should/will go:
Rasulo
Jackson (apparently going in the summer according to BCS)
Wootton
All the loanees
Furlong

Obviously some of those loanees are good players (apparently) who are better than League 1 who we have no chance of keeping. Wootton is just too error prone for my liking, as is EEL. I don't really think we should sign players like Golbourne or Ward unless they are squad players/second choice. Rasulo just needs to move on for his sake.

I'd like Upson to stay but think unless things dramatically improve under Micciche, I don't think he will and he will move to a top end League One club. He contributes more than people think. Second most assists this and last season, and more suited to a Robboball/Quicheball style.

According to the main squad thread - the following eight players are out of contract in the summer: Ben Tilney Scott Wootton Oran Jackson Ed Upson Giorgio Rasulo Hugo Logan Connor Furlong Sam Nombe Plus the six we have on loan: Josh Tymon Scott Golbourne Ethan Ebanks-Landell Elliott Ward Marcus Tavernier Ike Ugbo So that is potentially 14 players leaving. Who from the list above would you want to keep on? For me I think its probably time for Rasulo to go, but would like to see the others re-sign. From the loanees, I assume Golbourne and Ward are possibilities but the other four are out of our league (whatever league that may be!). I like Golbourne.

I believe Josh Tymon, Marcus Tavernier & Ike Ugbo are destined for a higher level, so I won't include them. I would say definitely Sam Noumbe and depending on how well he does, Elliott Ward.

Upson does the belt-and-braces Darren Potter work that doesn't look hugely visible and isn't easy to appreciate. FWIW I thought he did OK today.

Thought Upson was poor today seems to have a reasonable first twenty minutes and that is it. His passing is not good enough or quick enough for someone in his position. In answer to the question I can’t judge Ward on one game but he looked better than any other centre back we have. Like Golbourne, Nombe 3 young loaners are going to bigger and better plAces let the rest go
