I was thinking about our best Academy XI and, unless I've forgotten some, then we don't seem to have developed many CB's or defensive midfielders.
Some of my choices opted to leave before playing for us, or we released but they've had decent careers. Anyway here's my selection in a 4-2-3-1:

David Martin

George Baldock
Kevin Danso
Tom Flanagan
Dean Lewington

Dele Alli
Brendon Galloway / Liam Kelly

Daniel Powell
Jason Puncheon
Seyi Ojo / Jamie Mackie

Sam Baldock

I know there's no George Williams, but have I forgotten anyone else? Or would others make changes to the XI (XIII)?

what criteria have you applied to the Wimbledon trainees?

First WFC appearance at the NHS maybe the best way to go about it?

And you’d have to include Ben Chorley & Lionel Morgan

Oh and more rcently, add Danny Collinge and Elliott Simmonds.

There’s two George Williams’. The one everyone’s has a downer on has half a dozen caps for Wales. ;)

Yep, good calls about Collinge and Simmonds. I had forgotten those.
Although on Collinge - I read an article about him at the start of the season and it was saying how he made the right call as Germans give youngsters more of a chance - and to prove it they said how he was getting first team games aged 19 in the 4th division. Well we give teenagers chances in the 3rd division so I'm sure if he was good enough he'd have got some games for us.
I'd completely forgotten about Morgan. He was very promising but I don't think he should get into the team as he was forced to retire so young.
Ben Chorley I've checked up on and he was an Arsenal trainee who was released by them and joined Wimbledon FC aged 20/21 so he can't count as an Academy product.

The reason collinge left was to do his a-level studies alongside professional football, something we couldnt offer.

The best academy products are the "Jason Puncheon pistol grip tape" and the Sam Baldock "butt-crack wiper". Both excellent products that regularly sell out on QVC.

Ah, yes, you're right. I remember now that was mentioned in the article.
It's frustrating how many players we've lost before they've played any, or very few games, for us: Danso, Collinge, Galloway, Simmons, George. C. Williams, Ojo, etc.
Not an original thought but it does make it amazing just how many games we got out of Dele Alli before eventually losing him, especially as he was premier league class from the moment he arrived at Tottenham. The others that have left us very early have struggled to get first team games (except Danso).

Just bought the newer model of the "butt-crack wiper" from the George Baldock range. It covers more area but the qualities maybe slightly inferior.

I'd personally put in Chris Perry, Euell and Cort.

A few days ago I was bored on FIFA and looked into exactly this. Bearing in mind a few aren't on there like Collinge and Simmonds as either they or their teams aren't on the latest game, but this is what I came up with.
