Easily the best away day in a league one season, bar none. Friendly, the saddlers club is everything I wish we had, dont skip it. Get there early and enjoy some grub and a decent drink.

Give over it’s not that good. Can’t have a pint inside the ground makes it already not the best.

Which I have always found ironic considering it is sponsored by a brewery. However if you cant go 2 hours with out a beer I feel very sorry for you.

Well I never ! And I always thought the idea of going to a football ground was to watch a game of football.

Football Ground Guide says that beer is now served in the away end! :D

And it is the best away day. I wouldn't be coming with you if it wasn't!

Been a fair few times. The Saddlers bar is by far and away the best supporter bar I've ever been in. Make sure you have their porter. Amazing stuff.

Absolutely this.

I'd love to stick PW and AC in the middle of that room and say: "This. This is what it should be like at our place. Good range of drinks, efficient service, sensibly priced food, lots of seating, club memorabilia on the walls."

I.e. the exact opposite of the completely nondescript Cowshed Bar, which has no essence of being anything to do with football whatsoever.

I said when stadium:mk was being planned that a 'saddlers bar' type club/pub should be part of the plans. But, we got padded seats instead...

Still waiting for the Koi carp as well.

Isn't this supposed to be RedDot bar? I know it's nowhere near their standard though

Yeah, I'm kinda comparing apples with oranges to an extent by using the Cowshed Bar as an example.

Most of the same issues still apply, though. But let's face it: the stadium has been there 11 years, fans like us have been telling them things like this most or all of that time, and nothing ever changes. So I doubt it's going to improve in any way any time soon.
