I welcome the crowd I just don't get generally what Wrexham have to offer to bring out a crowd that say, Notts, Stockport and AFC the other week does.

The chance to see Lower League footballers you see on TV? Woooow

Fully agree on that but in the end, who cares? They bring a decent crowd, we put 4/5K on the gate, a better time had by all.

The Wrexham bubble will ultimately burst as hollywood lose interest and they will go back to being a community supported side that either fondly remember the hollywood days or are grateful its all over. Who knows but for now, for whatever nefarious reasons, this is where they are.

I'm not complaining I just don't get the novelty... it was a fun doc to watch don't get me wrong, but not to the extent I'd be desperate to watch them play.. they're a league two side

This! The more the merrier though, let's get behind the boys.

If it's a decent game ,a handful of those that have gone tomorrow for the first time say you know what lets go Saturday then it's job done really.

Unfortunately, this just never seems to happen. We have been in SMK now for maybe 16 years now and have played some much much bigger games with capacity crowds and put on some top drawer performances, particularly against Utd and the following week the crowd is back to more or less the average. Now we are L2, growing the fanbase will be more or less impossible.

Tomorrow will hopefully be the biggest crowd of the season so far, lets just enjoy it and hope for a good performance and better result.

Pretty much this.
We played Crawley a few days after Utd and had one of our lowest home crowds of the season

That pissed me off that did. I know we are hamstrung by it but that was a marketing wet dream. They are both the Red Devils. I know we can't offer cut price tickets as we would have to offer them to the 100 or so Crawley fans, but surely we could offer discounted food club shop or something for those neutral/new fans who got a ticket for united to come back the following Saturday. I am not blaming the club but I do feel the EFL do hamstring what we can do. Mind you we gave away free tickets for the anniversary of MK and didn't for Bolton so maybe we could. I just feel there was a lost opportunity then.

I can see why people may see it as an issues but looking at it from the other side .....
It's pretty standard that some teams are for whatever reason a bigger draw etc

I'm of the opinion it's best to just embrace it

Am looking forward to a good atmosphere

What do we think the attendance will be overall?

They are bringing about 2,000 so would expect 15,000-20,000?

I'm guessing somewhere around 22,000

Oh at least. They might even open the kiosk near Gate 6.

the amount of food and drink bought into the ground is a real eye opener. All money lost by the club

Just looked at how many tickets are left in the bottom section (whole stadium). We've done well on ticket sales but nowhere near 22k. That would be the entire bottom half sold plus 2k from Wrexham.
There are still lots of seats in a fair few blocks.

Would be very surprised if the attendance is over 12k. Not even sure it'll be 10k.

Haha. Not sure where you are finding all the extras from but I'll certainly come back and give you huge credit if you are correct.
I'll be annoyed with the traffic though as we can't cope with anything over 10k down there

Gotta be on a windup if you think it's gonna be over 10K

Fuck me it's only Wrexham.
