They're sounding promising.
But with the first team squad looking so strong, with a senior player as understudy in each position, and Tisdale's seeming preference for playing a senior player out of position rather than an academy one in their natural position, is there any of them that you think will be a member of the first team squad for league games this season? Or is it likely to be a season of appearances in friendlies, EFL Trophy, U23's, and maybe non-league loans for them all?

Expect a good run in the cups. I for one like the EFL Trophy as I get to see some of the youngsters/squad players perform.

Asonganyi has always been a bit “barrel-shaped”. That’s his strength. Last night’s goal was a classic example of what I’ve seen from him over the last few years. Good close control, strength to hold off the defender and a clinical finish. I’ve not seen a lad at his age (still only 18) and at this level play in the way he does. Most young strikers don’t learn to do what he does until a good few years into their careers, if ever.

I get the impression that it's just natural to him and he doesn't really think about it. He's a very exciting prospect.

Just had a look through the pics from the game and man, Lewie is looking LEAN. Looks like he's worked hard during the summer!

Dylan looks like he's grown an inch or two and evened out a bit too.

I swear we say Lewie loses weight every single year.

I think he just progressively puts on a few pounds as the season progresses when he realises he's still getting picked, then fasts during the off season

It's Pete's train set and you should all feel honoured to be granted the privilege of paying to watch him play with it.
