F-d if I'm doing the train if what's been said is true.

£23 is my guess.

That'd not be too bad. Might just go.

Anyone else surprised by the lack of promotion/marketing for this? Barely a mention on Twitter or the OS, it's like the club don't want anybody to go

Pure speculation on my part, but I wonder if there is a tacit agreement between FL clubs that you only promote the next away game? I’ve noticed it before where you only get a ticket announcement and no follow ups until it is the next away fixture.

and it's in Manchester, the only place where Bostik comes with a serving suggestion.

Don’t think Filthys point is people who’ll go or won’t go I think it’s abput the club not advertising it

If Filthy is talking about zero cost promotion then he may have a point, but there is no point wasting money on an event being advertised by the BBC anyway and for a match most people have already made their mind up if they are going or not.

Beg to differ. If it’s advertised more people may be head turned. If it isn’t their default option is watching on TV.

Marketing budgets are usually spent on where the greatest return is. An away fixture on a Friday aint producing a high return.

You are right, but we do get 40% of the gate receipts, unless we are donating it back to Hyde (which IMO we should do). Well, I believe it is 40/40/20.

It is a bit of a lost cause in promoting it though. I am not too sure if it is a school day in MK, but getting people to take their kids out of school to drive three hours there and three hours back is a fruitless endeavour as it's not like we are playing silky attractive football.

I have a feeling this game will be a Cambridge City game from a few years back 0-0 Friday night game against a non-league opponent where we hit the post and bar at least 3 times in that game! Ahhh the memories
