good player but i prefer gilbey and we don't need both.

the jury is still out on cisse but he theoretically offers some protection for the back four. and would rather see chuks on the ball in midfield than parked up top.

Where exactly are you playing Chuks? Also, Sow is out for 6 weeks.

central midfield, where the most creative player in the team should be.

4-5-1 is the way forward...

Nicholls

Brittain - Williams - Walsh - Golbourne

Ariyibi - Gilbey - Aneke - Upson - Nesbitt

Seager

Do you think there's enough defensive ability in that midfield? Quality going forward but would it leave the back four exposed?

Think with the physicality of Aneke when we're on the backfoot he has the presence and strength to protect the back four. For most of this season our defence hasn't been the issue, it's scoring goals and creating chances that has been the issue. With 5 in midfield, Aneke in the middle, two wingers like Nesbitt and Ariyibi, should be plenty for Seager to latch on to.

Maybe 4-1-4-1 with Upson sitting back would be a bit better, but think we need to emphasise attack more for a change.

Yep, Upson in the Potter role. Works for me.
