Filthy, can you write an open letter to Dave King imploring them to take Neilson as the next Rangers manager?

We get shot of him and Gers can continue to lambast 5-5-0. It's a win-win situation. :D

EDIT TO ADD: well done, Filthy. I didn't agree with all of your points, but you wanted answers, got off your arse, made an effort and for the most part you got them.

I sent two emails to Andy Cullen at the weekend, too be fair he replied straight away, gave what I would call a politician answer, didn't expect anything else.
On the PW interview tonight, seems PW is stressed to the max and Neilson is on borrowed time, never seen this kind of disconscent before here, all very sad.

Surely the best thing would be to let him go then. We are in December if we are to get a new manager who can bring in players in Jan we need get rid soon then surely?

It took us six weeks to hire Neilson after all!

I'm not really sure what to make of this. Certainly I've known even worse times (Ince round 2 for instance) but I can't help but think this petition will only pour oil on troubled waters. In times like this I think it's important to maintain a united front however 'eroded' our identity has become. Certainly a petition might galvanise people into presenting a united front, or wanting their words to be heard stronger, but we're not even halfway through the season yet and we've still got one more transfer window upcoming. That may be my overbearing optimism at work, but with tough games coming up and the fact we're still in the FA Cup, I think it's important, more than over, that we show the players, Neilson and the board that we're stronger together rather than 87 (and counting) fans wanting their voices to be heard louder.
I know it's incredibly frustrating given the lack of communication from the club over Dean in particular, but we can send a much stronger message if we continue supporting this club that we all love if we maintain unity and at least see it through to January. Then we can take stock, and I would certainly be more inclined to sign a petition than sign one now.

As a matter of interest, can any Tom, Dick or Harry sign this or is it restricted to forum members? My concern is that the likes of AFC, Luton or Posh fans could sign it just to make it look worse than it already is.

Not forgetting the AFC, Luton, cobblers and Peatboghorror fans/moles/wum's that are "members" on this very forum... ;)

Amen brother.

P.S. See you in The Peacock before the Blackburn game. ;)

I agree with this, very Don Revie at United when Cloughie tried to manage them.

Karl Revie as Banquo's ghost? Maybe... petty but maybe that's the game....
