... is Alex Gilbey!

Hard to argue with that. The man is an absolute machine and ridiculously good at this level. 3 out of his 4 seasons at the club he's won this award. The year he didn't, there was no awards. A remarkable achievement for a remarkable player.

Never in doubt. Club legend status, with only Lewington ahead of him.

Maybe not the best ever player, but after Lewie, our best ever servant.

Some on here and elsewhere said it was a vanity, sentimental signing. Getting him over the line weeks after relegation, and just nursing a hangover from promotion with Stevenage was absolutely season changing work.. the downward trajectory we could've been on if he hadn't have joined may have continued.. I'm not exaggerating. He's that important.

Probably the most predictable awards we’ve ever had. None of the major ones were really in doubt including Callum Tripp picking up Academy Player. Michael Kelly must have crammed a lot of Community Ambassadorial stuff into his six months, mind

I remember drunkenly messaging him on instagram asking him to stay whilst sat in MK Biergarten after the news of his move to Charlton came to light.

Love the guy. I was stoked when he returned and I'm so glad it turned out well. Just like the Grigg loan deal. Robbo you are next.....

Fantastic player.
Absolutely key to all we've achieved this season.
