I Need A Dollar

I've no idea who it's by, but when it was a hit I was working on a job where they were playing a local radio station all day. This massive pile of shit was on every show. Must've heard it at least four or five times a day. Every day. For a week.

There can be any number of reasons for liking or disliking a particular song. Sometimes it can simply be that you just really like or dislike it, or hearing it in a particular place or moment allows you to associate it with a good or bad memory.

For me, it's down to over-exposure. I wasn't particularly fond of the song anyway, but hearing it played on repeat for hours every day over a period of several months by my next-door neighbour at the time has made me really hate this song:

Celine Dion - My heart will go on

I can't hear the song, I can't watch the film....... It is just truly awful!



Also anything by Cliff Richard

Even James Cameron hates that song. Didn't want it associated with that film.

Anything by the BeeGees sung in that ridiculous high pitched trying-to-sound-like-a-woman-and-failing-badly voice. I just dont get it. Why would anyone want to sound like that unless it was for comedic effect? Bizarre.
