Burt Bacharach has passed away at the ripe old age of 94.

A true giant of popular music, and there can be no one who doesn't like at least one of his absolutely wonderful compositions. My own personal favourite being I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself (the Dusty version obviously). Along with lyricist Hal David, he more or less sound-tracked the swinging 60's. He was one of those lucky people that actually got more handsome as he got older, witness his second marriage to Angie Dickinson.

We've all got to go sometime, but at least he's left an astonishing legacy if nothing else. This being his greatest in my opinion...

I think I heard Tucker singing it at one of the early cup games.

Good job he has learnt a new one now.

Genius is an overused word. But not in his case.
