Seriously?

Lol. Oh well. That’s the “do I go and see them on this tour” question answered then.

I'm not all that keen if I'm being honest. My wife loves them, and being as we were stuck in the same car all weekend due to the snow, I'm now an expert.

They seem very derivative, basically it's Stereolab. 'Spitfire' is good, but ruined by all that silly talking.

I saw them at a festival and they were really, really good - inventive, original and exciting. I then saw them at the roundhouse for a full gig and it lost its sheen after a while. Great in small doses, but not for a full set.

And not at all anymore of course. Never again and all that.

I should add - not really fussed about who his Dad is - just the fact that he supports them is enough. Tosser.

LOLage - agreed - I saw them supporting the Kaiser (Keyser?) Chiefs a few years back, and even bought their Race for Space album - which is a very good listen as it goes...

...but that was before I found out!

Alright, I'll bite. Who is he (or his father)?

Erik Samuelson. Ring any bells?

Lucky I don't like his brand of neo-prog. He certainly plays up the Young Fogey schtick. Perhaps he plays the Rees-Moog synth?

 Just seen this. It didn't deserve to pass without acknowledgement.
