THE CONCRETE ROUNDABOUT (TCR)

Iconic photographer Mick Rock has sadly died. You might not know the name, but you'll definitely know the images. He photographed every major rock star of the 70's. If you see a picture of Bowie in his Ziggy pomp, Rock took that picture.

Listening to an obituary on the wireless today, and if anyone could have been said to have had a life well lived, it was him.

Never drank a single drop of alcohol in his entire life. Had a massive coke habit for decades, which left him both penniless, and the recipient of three, that's THREE, major heart operations. "I'd do it all again without a second thought". And when he was offered millions for the rights to his back catalog he declined saying, "I just got lucky, they're only pictures"
