Just seen this thread. My favourite lines were the ones I did off that fit celebrities tits on Sunday morning in a kitchen in Fishermead. You know that fit bird from that band who sang that song? |

Now looking back over the years And whatever else that appears I remember I cried when my father died Never wishing to hide the tears And at sixty-five years old My mother, God rest her soul Couldn’t understand why the only man She had ever loved had been taken Leaving her to start with a heart so badly broken Despite encouragement from me No words were ever spoken And when she passed away I cried and cried all day Alone again, naturally Alone again, naturally Alone Again, Naturally - Gilbert O'Sullivan |

Love listening to Bruce Springsteen, but some of his lyrics really kill me nowadays. A little too apt and close to the bone, I suppose. "Because there's just different people coming down here now, and they see things in different ways, And soon everything we've known will just be swept away." (Independence Day) - "Now, some guys, they just give up living, And start dying little by little, piece by piece." (Racing in the Street) |
